The IAFF Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Treatment and Recovery is a one-of-a-kind addiction treatment facility specializing in PTSD for IAFF members – and IAFF members only – who are struggling with addiction, PTSD other related behavioral health challenges to receive the help they need in taking the first steps toward recovery. It is a safe haven for members to talk with other members who have faced or overcome similar challenges.

After consideration and consultation with the affected Locals in Boone County, the eligible members of the KPFF Executive Board have voted to endorse Gary Moore for the office of Boone Co Judge Executive.
Judge Moore has been a proponent of maintaining safety and response levels of our members and the public while optimizing services in merging districts. Judge Moore was instrumental in bringing a regional training center to Boone County as well as work on providing a new integrated 911 dispatch center and completing the regional digital radio system for public safety.
